Business Info
Jerry Perkins is a 1986 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. After graduating, he served over 20 years in the Air Force in Financial Management and Mission Support. After retiring from the Air Force, Jerry carved out a career in the business world for the past 17 years. His experiences have included financial controller, VP of business development. He is a local business owner, first as a certified business coach and now as a realtor.
Jerry received a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry Riddle, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Active in community affairs, Jerry is a member of the Schertz Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club International, and Toastmasters International. He is on the Financial Committee and the Board of Directors for the South-Central Texas chapter of Communities in Schools (CIS). Mr. Perkins was elected to the Board of Trustees for the Schertz – Cibolo – Universal City Independent School District in 2015. As a Trustee, he is responsible for the education of the nearly 16,000 students in SCUC ISD.
Jerry and his wife Aurora, have a daughter and a son. Both are USAFA graduates, and both are pilots in the USAF.
